SYNOPSIS
Written by British playwright Caryl Churchill – considered to be one of the greatest living playwrights – “Lovesick” is based in the 1970’s and follows the lives of a psychiatrist and several of his patients. His experimental treatments yield many problems, where family and love plots intersect with murderers and troubling pathologies, raising pressing ethical questions.
This stylised adaptation of Churchill’s radio play adopts physical theatre and other non-naturalistic theatre forms to navigate through the powerful images and events of the narrative.
