If you like your art and prefer to enjoy it without the hoards of baying tourists armed with iphones and cameras then now is your time! The museums of Lisbon have reopened and with the new laws in place you can bask in the relative luxury of your 2 meter bubble and take as long as you need to enjoy the masterpieces on display without feeling obliged to move on so quickly. One of the most beautiful of these is the famed Gulbenkian and we can still enjoy this magnates collection within the most gorgeous of settings.
The Founder’s Collection is open from 10:00 to 18:00 and closes on Tuesday and on the following days – January 1, Easter Sunday, May 1, December 24 and 25.
